FitBack & Bumps courses are a fantastic blend of exercise and education, as well as a great way to meet other mums in the Beckenham area.
Run by Gail Preston, a physiotherapist and qualified FitBack & Bumps instructor, the course consists of four sessions over consecutive weeks. Students take home a booklet containing all the information and exercises covered in the course.
Each session of the programme building on the skills and exercises in the previous one. The focus is on the core muscles of the stomach, back and pelvis, which helps with:
- Improved posture during and after pregnancy
- Reduction in pre and post pregnancy conditions such as stress incontinence and pelvic girdle pain
- Improved sexual satisfaction!
- General health and well being
Core Health also runs one-to-one antenatal classes to support you through pregnancy.
